The following items should be included in 2 Boxes of mTAP
Box # 1 Contents (mTAP Frame)
Items Description:
A - mTAP Frame
B - 3 x MagTek DynaFlex2Go card readers
C - 40,000 mAh Power bank
D - 5-port power adapter (to use for power outlet connection)
E - Allen key (to separate the front plate from the back plate - Not needed for regular setup)
Box # 2 contents (Floor mount)
Items Description:
A- Bottom Stem
B- Top Stem
C- Floor Plate
D- Hex Nut
E- Washer
F- Allen Key
mTAP has 3 major components that need to work together to make the device work.
These are :
- MagTek DynaFlex2Go EMV card readers
- mHub - Mini Smartphone which runs the mHub App
- Battery pack/Wired Power hub to provide charge to the mHub and card readers
mHub should be configured first to ensure the proper functioning of the mTAP device.
Follow the 4 steps outlined below in the same order to ensure the proper configuration and setup of mTAP.
Step 1: mTAP Floor Mount setup
The first step to set up the mTAP is to assemble the hardware components. The following procedure is recommended to be followed as the first step of setting up mTAP.
Step 2: mTAP Hub Configuration
mTAP hub should now be configured in order to get it connected with the MOHID server.
Step 3: Connect Readers
Follow the instructions below to connect the card readers with the mHub through Bluetooth.
Step 4: Setup receipts
