mTAP has 3 major components that need to work together to make the device work.
These are :
- MagTek DynaFlex2Go EMV card readers
- mHub - Mini Smartphone which runs the mHub App
- Battery pack/Wired Power hub to provide charge to the mHub and card readers
mHub should be configured first to ensure the proper functioning of the mTAP device.
Once the mHub is configured and connected with the readers, follow the instructions from the link below to finalize the hardware setup.

mHub Configuration
It is very important to seup mHub and MagTek Readers before installing them in the mTAP base plate.
- Separate the upper face plate from the Base plate and take the mHub out of the slot.
- Power up the mHub by pressing the power button located on the left side of the smartphone.
- Swipe from top to bottom to show the menu.
- Enable Bluetooth by clicking the Bluetooth menu button
- Enable WiFi by clicking the WiFi menu button
- Long press the WiFi button to show the available WiFi networks.
- Connect to your prefered network.
- After the WiFi is connected and Bluetooth enabled , go back to the home screen.
- Now tap on the App icon for mTAP to start the Application
- mHub application is pre-configured to run as a pinned App and a Home screen App (How to re-configure mHub App to stop running as home screen). These settings are there to avoid accessing home screen Apps by general public and children.
- When the App starts, it asks for the confirmation to be pinned , please select the option for GOT IT
- Next, select the Default home app as mTAP and tap on the back arrow. This setting will ensure that if the mHub device reboots it will always start the mTAP App by default.
- A QR code should now be displayed on the screen with the device ID in the bottom. Scan the QR code with your phone to connect the mHub with the MOHID cloud.
- After scanning the QR code, MOHID login screen will be displayed on your smartphone. Login with your MOHID credentials and mTAP configuration page will be displayed at MOHID.
- Click Add Device to add each of the EMV Card readers to the mHub configuration
- Read the Serial number of each device and enter it in the Serial Number field.Serial Number can be read from the back of the device as well as from the reader box label.Enter the fixed amount associated with the reader and the Donation Category.
Note: You can assign different donation categories to each reader



17. Tap or click SAVE and the mHub will switch to the home screen

Congratulations !!
The mHub is now configured and connected to the MOHID cloud.
Follow the below instructions to connect the card readers with teh mHub .
Once the readers are connected with the mHub device follow below instructions to finish setting up the mTAP hardware.
