Follow the steps below to setup mTAP frame and install DynaFlex2 card readers.
- Mark the 3 MagTek DynaFlex2 boxes in order and place them aside. This will help identify the placement of readers in the mTAP frame slots in the correct order.
- Place the Power bank included in the mTAP package in the Power supply holder at the back of the frame, and connect all USB cables to the USB-A ports on the Power bank.
- Now flip the mTAP Frame and remove the Front plate from the base plate of the frame using the hex key included in the package.
- Remove the clear price tag holders from their slots and place them aside.
- Press the Power button on the right side of the Hub to power it on.
- Once the Hub is powered on, swipe from top to bottom to show the menu.
- Enable Bluetooth by clicking the Bluetooth menu button
- Enable WiFi by clicking the WiFi menu button
- Long-press the WiFi button to show the available WiFi networks.
- Connect to your preferred WIFI network.
- After the WiFi is connected and Bluetooth enabled, go back to the home screen.
- Now tap on the App icon for mTAP to start the Application (Upgrade to the latest version if an upgrade is available)
- mHub application is pre-configured to run as a pinned App and a Home screen App (How to re-configure mHub App to stop running as home screen). These settings are there to avoid accessing home screen Apps by general public and children.
- For the setup, it is required to unpin the App. When the App starts, it asks for the confirmation to be pinned , please select the option for NO THANKS
- Next, select the Default home app as mTAP and tap on the back arrow. This setting will ensure that if the mHub device reboots it will always start the mTAP App by default.
- A QR code should now be displayed on the screen with the device ID in the bottom. Scan the QR code with your phone to connect the mHub with the MOHID cloud.
- After scanning the QR code, MOHID login screen will be displayed on your smartphone. Login with your MOHID credentials and mTAP configuration page will be displayed at MOHID.
Add mTAP Readers
Repeat the following steps for all 3 MagTek Dynaflex2 EMV Readers
- Open one of the MagTek DynaFlex box and take out the card reader.
- Click Add Device to add each EMV Card readers to the mHub configuration
- Read the Serial number of the device and enter it in the Serial Number field.
- Serial Number can be read from the back of the device as well as from the reader box label.
- Enter the fixed amount associated with the reader and the Donation Category.
Note: You can assign different donation categories to each reader
6. Tap or click SAVE and the mHub will switch to the home screen
7. Place the Card reader in the first slot of the mTAP Frame and connect the USB-C cable to the charging port of the card reader.
- Repeat the above steps for all 3 card readers
- After all 3 readers are connected, place the clear price tags back to their slots.
- Finally attach the front plate back to the base plate.
