Important
The following procedure will assume that the MagTek DynaFlex2 card readers are fully charged. If the readers are not charged , please plug them to a wall charger using the supplied cable and charge the readers for atleast 15 minutes before trying to pair them with the mHub device.

Follow the steps below to connect the MagTek Dynaflex2 readers with the mHub via Bluetooth.

  1. Enable Bluetooth on the mHub device by swiping from the top and tapping on the Bluetooth icon.

  2. Ensure that the reader is already added as a device under the mHub in the MOHID dashboard.



  3. Next, put the reader in BTLE pairing mode by pressing and holding the power button on the reader for 4 beeps. The first and 4th LEDs will start to blink, indicating that the reader is now in pairing mode.



  4. Once the reader goes into pairing mode a popup should apear on the top of the mHub screen saying Pairing request  tap PAIR & CONNECT. (If the popup disappears before tapping on the button, swipe down from top corner to see the notifications and the notification should be accessed from there )
  5. A popup should apear asking for the PIN to enter. Just enter 000000 (Number 0 to be entered 6 times)

  6. Tap OK and the reader will connect to the mHub device via Bluetooth

  7. After initial connection, the reader will reset within the first 12 seconds. This is normal behavior. Let it reboot and reconnect automatically with the hub before using it first time.

Congratulations !

The MagTek Dynaflex reader is now connected and ready to use.
Just Tap the card or phone on the reader and see it in action.

Troubleshooting

  1. The mHub started to show the error that an incorrect PIN has been entered.

  • Make sure that the correct device serial number is entered in MOHID 
  • Try to restart the App to reset the memory.
  • If the problem persists , go to Settings (swipe down from top) -> Apps -> mTAP and clear storage .Then restart the App.
2. After putting the reader in pairing mode, it is not getting detected by the mHub and no popup is displaying for Pairing Request
  • Make sure that the correct device serial number is entered in MOHID 
  • Click the refresh icon in front of the Hub from MOHID dashboard
  • This will send a refresh command to the mHub to rescan the nearby Bluetooth devices
