- Log in to MOHID and click mTAP from the left menu
- Click Edit for the mTAP Hub you want to setup
- On the mTAP Hub Settings screen, use the Rapid Mode switch to control the behavior or Receipt generation
1- Normal Mode (Rapid Mode disabled)
When a new mHub is configured, Rapid Mode is disabled by default.
In this mode, mTAP is designed to generate automatic receipts for the transactions if the Donor has previously donated using the same credit card.
If the donor is not found in MOHID or if the donor never used the card before, mTAP Hub will display a QR code to the Donor to scan and enter information on Donor's phone.
2- Rapid Mode
Rapid Mode is a very useful mode for the scenarios where very fast Tap n Pay transactions are required.If Rapid mode switch is enabled, mTAP will ALWAYS display a Transaction Successful message for every transaction (always in 2 seconds).
In Rapid mode, the transaction is performed in background :
- If the donor is found in MOHID , transaction is recorded under the donor record and a receipt will be automatically sent out to the donor.
- If the donor is not found based on the Credit Card number, the transaction is recorded as ANONYMOUS
If the transaction faills, it will not be recorded in MOHID and no receipt will be sent out. But the donor will still see a successful message.
Note:
Use Rapid Mode with caution, as it may result in Anonymous transactions for Donors not found OR in some rare cases, the declined or failed transactions will be shown to donor as Successful transactions.
