With MPM App , you can use your Android phone as a Handheld credit card reader and collect payments/donations through your MOHID System.
This feature can only work if your phone has NFC. To check , go to
Settings->Connected Devices->NFC
Step 1:
- Open MPM App and login using the MPM Pro Key
- Go to Settings Tab
- Under Reader, tap on the reader type selected
- Select Phone NFC

Step 2:
- Start a TapnGo or Donation/Fundraiser Ticket transaction

- Place the chip side of the credit card on the back of your phone
- You have to loacate the exact location of your Phone's NFC chip. Every phone has the NFC chip on a different location. You can also search Google to find the location of your Phone's NFC Chip
- The transaction will complete and the card will be processed
Note 1: If the card reading fails or if the Phone does not have NFC chip you can use the Manual Entry method to enter the card number/Expiry to take payment
Note 2: If card reading fails , try to remove the phone from case and try again. Some thivk phone cases block the NFC reader which makes it impossible for the reader to read the card
Note 3: If the card is a metallic card (e.g. Chase Saphire Reserve) and the phone case has a magnetic ring, card reading will fail. You can remove the case, or enter card details manually to process the transaction.
