It is recommended to configure the mHub and perform the complete procedure outlined in the below link before proceeding :


mTAP should be off the floor stand and lying on a flat surface before performing the following procedure.

  1. Insert the mHub and all MagTek readers in their corresponding slots from the front plate as shown in the picture below.
    The USB cables are pre-wired and ready to be connected to the readers and mHub. Connect the USB-C cable for each component before inserting it into its corresponding slot.

  2. Print the price tag of each mTAP reader according to the Serial numbers and the fixed amounts set up in the MOHID dashboard.

  3. Cut the price tags and insert them into the tag holders. Then place the tag holders in their corresponding slots.

  4. Remove the small M3 black screws using the provided 2mm hex key.
  5. Place the front plate on top of the base plate , match the screw holes and use the small M3 black screws and teh 2mm hex key to install the front plate on top of the base plate .

  6. mTAP is now ready to be mounted to the provided floor stand

  7. Lift the Flyer holder from the bottom edge to insert any 8.5x11 inch (A4) flyer to display any upcoming event or program.

Floor Stand Setup

  1. First take the stand out of the box and connect the base with the stand using the 2 hex screws and the included hex key.
  2. The mTAP floor stand has variable height option. You can adjust the 2 holders on your desired height.
  3. First loose the 2 thumb screws and then move the lower holder up to the desired height.
  4. Next , move the upper holder to a high position and tighten the thumb screw to hold the upper holder to this position.
  5. Place the mTAP on the lower holder arm as shown in the picture. Note that the USB wires should not come in between the floor stand and the mTAP base plate. Also the placement of mTAP should be such that the floor stand should be touching the bracket which holds the power module.

  6. Finally loosen the thumb screw that is holding the upper arm of the floor stand and let it come down to hold the upper edge of mTAP.
  7. Tighten the upper thumb screw to secure the mTAP between the 2 arms of the floor stand.

Charging options

mTAP comes with 2 options to provide power to the mHub and the 3 MagTek Card readers.
A- 4 Port USB Charger - with 6ft of cable
B- 4 Port Power bank - 6-8 hours of charge available when powering the mHub and 3 MagTek card readers.

In both options , the back bracket can be used to securely store the power source as shown in the below pictures.

It is recommended to use the wired USB charger during normal operations and only use the Power bank for use cases where there is no power socket available nearby.

How to update price tag
  1. Unplug the USB C cables from each card reader

  2. Remove the 2 silver thumb screws holding the back plate of price tags and remove the back plate.

    3. Now just push the price tag from the front and it will fall back from it's slot.

    4. Update or change the donation amount/category in the price tag and re-install it in the provided slot.

5. Finally, connect the base plate using the 2 silver thumb screws.
