To set up your MOHID Plus KIOSK to work with the new EMV reader, follow the steps outlined below in the correct order.

Please note that only the android version 6 and 10 are compatible with Forte EMV devices.

Step 1: Software Upgrade

    Please follow the steps mentioned below to upgrade your KIOSK to version 19.5 or higher:
    • On KIOSK terminal, double tap on the top left corner
    • Login with your admin password (default password is admin)
    • Click on UPGRADE option displayed in the main menu

    Step 2: Hardware Installation

    • Your EMV upgrade kit comes with the following 2 items :
      • MagTek DynaFlex2 card reader
      • Mounting bracket for MagTek reader 
    • Follow the instructions provided in the following link to correctly install the card reader and bracket 

    Step 3: KIOSK Setup

    • Connect the supplied USB cable with KIOSK
    • Go to KIOSK settings by double-tapping on the logo and entering the admin password
    • Go to KIOSK Settings
    • Tap Select Card Reader
    • Select Forte-EMV
    • Tap Submit

    • KIOSK will ask to Allow MP_USB to access DynaFlex II Go 
    • Select the Checkbox and tap OK

    • The KIOSK will connect to the PinPad and display the message Pin Pad Connected

    • Wait for 15 seconds, within this time KIOSK will attempt to restart the connected MagTek Reader and you will see a message that Pin Pad not connected! and the reader is restarting.

    • This is normal, let the reader restart and automatically reconnects to the the KIOSK. 
    The EMV reader is now ready to process the payments through 
Chip, Contactless cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
