Step 1: Secondary Payment Gateway Integration & Mapping

Login to the Stripe Dashboard to access details of your account. Click on Copy ID to copy the Account ID.

Please go to Settings > Payment Gateway screen
Click on the Secondary Payment Gateway section
Select STRIPE in the payment gateway drop down
Paste the Account ID copied from Stripe dashboard (Account ID begins with acct_)

Go to Payment Gateway Usage Mapping
For MPM, select Secondary Gateway option
Click on the SAVE button

After clicking the SAVE button, make sure that the Stripe Location ID is displayed. This is not an editable value.

Step 2: Stripe M700 device registration in Mohid for USWhat this guide helps you do 

Customers can order a Stripe Reader M700 from Stripe, then register the device in Mohid so the MPM software (Mohid app) is automatically downloaded to the reader. After the app installs, you enter a Device Key (MPM Pro Key) to sign in. 

Confidentiality - Pairing code and Device Key are sensitive. Do not share them in public channels. 

 

Before you start (prerequisites) 

  • M700 access is enabled for your Mohid account

  • Stripe is connected in Mohid 

  • M700 reader is delivered, powered on, and connected to the internet (Wi‑Fi or Ethernet) 

  • You have Admin access in Mohid dashboard 

  • You are physically with the reader (to generate the pairing code) 

 

Terms you’ll see 

  • Pairing code / Registration code: generated on the M700 and used to register the reader in Mohid. 

  • Device Key (MPM Pro Key): generated in Mohid Addons and entered on the reader to log in. 

 

Setup steps 

Step 1 — Order the M700 in Stripe 

  1. Sign in to Stripe Dashboard. 

  1. Open the Terminal shop and order Stripe Reader M700. 

  1. Wait for delivery. 

 

Step 2 — Connect the reader to the internet (Stripe landing page) 

  1. Power on the reader. 

  1. On first use, the Stripe welcome/landing screen appears. 

  1. If the reader is not connected, it prompts you to connect to Wi‑Fi or Ethernet. 

  1. Connect the reader to the internet. 

Expected result: The reader shows a connected network and stays online. 



Note: This is the Stripe landing screen (not the Mohid app). You must be online to generate the pairing code and download the Mohid app. 

 

Step 3 — Get the M700 registration (pairing) code 

  1. On the reader, swipe right from the left edge to open Settings. 

  1. Enter the admin passcode. 

  1. Open Admin options. 

  1. Tap Generate pairing code. 

  1. Copy the pairing code shown on the screen. 

Expected result: The reader displays a pairing code you can enter in Mohid. 



Note: If the pairing code fails, generate a fresh code and try again. 

 

Step 4 — Register the M700 in Mohid 

  1. In Mohid, go to Settings → Integration → Payment Gateway → Secondary Payment Gateway 

  1. Make sure Secondary Payment Gateway is set to Stripe. 

  1. Confirm the Stripe Account ID and Stripe Location ID shown are for the masjid/location where the reader will be used. 

  1. Click + Add M700 Reader. 

  1. Enter the pairing code in M700 Reader Registration Code. 

  1. Click Save. 

Expected result: Mohid registers the reader, and Stripe starts installing the Mohid app on the device.
