Updating the Mohid MPM-PRO app on the Stripe S700


-Updates are deployed from the Stripe Dashboard (by Mohid Team), and the reader downloads + installs the new version automatically. 

After an update is deployed, the reader can update automatically as long as it is:

  • Connected to the internet (Wi-Fi)
  • Powered on (recommended: plugged in)
  • Not actively processing a donation/payment
-If you need to apply the update right now, use the restart steps below.

+Update immediately (recommended): Restart the S700

Do this when the device is idle (no donation/payment in progress).
1. Confirm the S700 is connected to Wi-Fi and (recommended) plugged into power.
2. Press and hold the Power button until the menu appears.
3. Tap Restart.
4. Wait for the device to reboot. It may reboot again to complete installation.
5. When the Mohid app returns, continue normally.

Verify the update (check app version)

You can confirm the deployed version;

If the app did not update try in this order:

1. Confirm Wi-Fi is connected.
2. Restart the reader again.
3. Leave the reader powered on and connected for 5–10 minutes, then restart once more. If it still doesn’t update, escalate to Support with:

FAQ

Do I need Google Play / manual install? No. Apps on Devices are managed and updated over-the-air via Stripe deployments.

Will restart interrupt donations? Yes. Restart only when the device is idle.
