Please do not remove the {details} tag from the email body as it will be replaced by the actual details of the transaction such as category, amount etc when email is sent to the donor. Hence it is very important to include the {details} tag.



Step# 1

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Receipt Settings
  3. Check the checkbox "Enable Non-Donation Receipt"
  4. Click Save button.












Step# 2

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Module Settings > Email
     3. Modify the contents of template "Non-Donation Receipt (On demand)", and use        the provided tags {first_name} {last_name} {details} for the email body as needed.
     4. Click Save button.

Note: Please do not remove the {details} tag from the email body as it will be replaced by the actual details of the transaction such as category, amount etc. Hence it is very important to include the {details} tag.









Step# 3

In order to send the non-donation receipt by email, the category should be marked as non-donation.

Example # 1: You can send non-donation receipts to the non-donation categories added in Settings > Donation. Please follow the steps mentioned below in this regard:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select  Donation
  3. For the Sales category, select "No" for 'As Donation' column
  4. Click Save button.

Now, the non-donation receipt will be sent via email to the donors who perform transaction in a Non-donation/Sales category.










Example # 2: If you want to send the non-donation receipt for program registrations, then
  1. Go to Settings
  2. Program
  3. Uncheck the checkbox "As Donation"
  4. Click Save button

Now for all registrations, the non-donation receipt will be emailed to the payee.
