mTAP Box supports the numbered lock to secure the contents inside the box.
The default lock code for the mTAP Box is 0-0-0-0
CAUTION:
If you change the lock code, please note it down securely. There is no mechanism to open the Box if the code has been lost or if the numbered lock is broken for any reason!
The only way to open the box if the code has been lost is by breaking the Box!*** We recommend not to use the locking mechanism if it is not absolutely needed ***
Step1 :
Connect the lock latch to the lid using the 2 provided screws.
Step 2:
Move the Lock set pin from the position B to A by first sliding the pin to the right and then up, as shown in the picture below
Step 3:
Change the 4 digit code to a new number (For example 1-2-3-4)
Step 4:
Slide the Lock set pin back to position B by pushing it down.
The code is now set to the new code (1-2-3-4)
