Checkout mode is a feature that can be enabled in mTAP Lite devices from MOHID dashboard.
When in checkout mode , mTAP Lite will work as a Point of Sale device , in which the user can select multiple increments of a particular amount, set by the admin from MOHID dashboard.
Some of the example use cases are :
- Food sale after Friday prayers
- Ticket sales for Fundraising tickets (feature coming soon - currently tickets can be sold as a donation category)
- Event ticket sales
- Any scenario where multiple increments of a fixed amount is desired
Note:
Checkout mode can only be enabled in MOHID dashboard , if there is only 1 mTAP device added to a hub.
This mode is automatically disabled for scenarios when there are more than 1 mTAP devices added to a hub in MOHID dashboard.
To enable Checkout mode, log in to the MOHID dashboard -> mTAP and enable the switch for Checkout mode on your mTAP Lite Hub.
Click SAVE and the mHub will automatically shift to the Checkout mode interface.
When in Checkout mode, the user must click the PAY button to initiate the transaction. The instant Tap to Pay functionality will not work in Checkout mode.
To go back to Normal Tap to Pay mode, just disable the switch from MOHID dashboard.
