School can give an option to parents to pay transaction fee if school's Forte account is setup for Donor Pay rate plan. The transaction fee is automatically calculated according to invoices' amount and charged to parent. However, parents can choose to opt-out from paying the transaction fee.
You can change your current Forte rate plan to Donor Pay by following the steps mentioned in below screenshot by accessing the screen via MOHID admin dashboard:
After the Donor Pay rate plan is activated for your Forte account, please make sure to follow below steps to display the processing fee option to your donors:
Login Muntazim Admin Dashboard
Go to Settings > Enrollment & Payment Settings
Enable "Charge Processing Fee for Credit/Debit Card Transactions"
Click Save button
